Commenter: In DebtI have kidney disease and am hoping I die soon so my family can cash in on my life insurance to pay off my student loans. Hell or high water – these loans will not go into default. It’s merely a race against time – allowing student loans to be dischargeable in bankruptcy or my death. We’ll see who wins.
The woman mechanic’s baseball cap looks particularly great from the back, with her ponytail threaded through the hole at the back of the hat. Neither mechanic’s torso is printed, but the biker’s jacket has stitching details.
My friend Charlie has a cowdog named Gimp. He has established a breeding program and now has produced a litter of pups that all limp. He wrote me of his success predicting that he will make a million selling them to cowmen. His theory is that it will save an enormous amount of time getting a cowdog to the bum leg-ged stage.
The facilities were not quite National Finals approved. The arena was two football fields long and fenced in by sheep wire and cedar posts. The chute gate was made out of airport landing and baling-wired to a railroad tie. Airport landing, for those of you who weren’t in the Seabees in the Pacific is a sheet of corrugated steel, six foot by eight foot and dotted with grapefruit sized holes. Each sheet weighed about three hundred pounds!

Franklin is new to surfing, but he already sees how the wave pool can help entice non-surfers into watching pro surfing. “We have a ton more data capture here,” he said. “That can help the announcers showcase the incredible capabilities of our athletes. In the ocean, more time and energy is taken to describe the waves, which is fine for surfers but not for anyone else.” This was a fresh perspective: data capture gilding surfers better. “More exposure is great for the athletes,” Franklin went on. “Right now, Caroline Marks will disappear on an American street. She shouldn’t. Because she is an extraordinary athlete.” He had a point. Caroline Marks is sixteen, the youngest woman on the tour. She surfs well, of course, but I wouldn’t know her if she banged on my door.
Ah, my imagination ran away with me. But the sheep business needs a shot in the arm and the trade-off, though distasteful, is well worth considering. I guess my hesitation is the calling we have chosen.
People of the land meet a different kind of deadline. It is not manmade. A reporter must meet an arbitrary deadline. Like this column. I must have agreed on the deadline and it can’t be changed.
Now, Phil had come prepared to work in the cold. He had on his hat with Elmer Fudd earflaps, mudboots, socks, undies, long johns, jeans, undershirt, wool shirt and Carharts. Carharts, for you tropical cowboys, are insulated coveralls made out of canvas and tough as a nylon tutu.

Let’s put in good word for the feedlot cowboy. That group of fellers that meet every mornin’ early at the horse barn, saddle up, get their instructions and ride off down the alley. These boys and ladies come from everywhere. Most are fair to middlin’ horsemen with some sort of rural background. A few have come in from the outside, doin’ ranch work. These particular buckaroos and brush poppers often have trouble adapting to a world of crowded pens, clangin’ gates and speedin’ feed trucks. They’re used to a little slower pace and the madhouse routine of pen checkin’, processin’, doctorin’, sortin’ and shippin’ leaves ‘em a little bamfoozled. Some of ‘em catch on and other’s just float around the yard hopin’a heifer will calve or a steer will get out on the road.
Below is a brief idea about the work carried on different parts of the modded Mahindra Thar by Pro Color Body Shop.
That was the start for Johns, who went on to captain the Knights, NSW and Australia, become the youngest and first two-time winner of the Golden Boot award for the world’s greatest rugby league player (1999 and 2001), was picked as halfback in the NRL’s team of the century, won the Dally M award as league’s best in 1998, 1999 and 2002, was voted MVP in the 1995 World Cup final at Wembley and played in two Newcastle premiership-winning sides, in 1997 and 2001, the latter when he was captain and won the Clive Churchill Medal as the best player on the park.
