A college education is a major purchase. Be a smart consumer! Why borrow $100,000 for a degree in English?!?! How will that investment ever pay off? Why enter into a doctorate program witout researching the financing first, and why drop out with no degree after borrowing over $150,000? These stories may be nightmares, but they are nightmares of the individuals’ own making. Don’t blame the lender for giving you the money you requested.
