Commenter: Diana MunkacsiOf the $460 I pay every month for the next 30 years, ONLY $50-$75 of that goes toward my principal! OVER $390 OF MY PAYMENTS GO TO INTEREST FIRST!!!!! I have not seen my principal go down! This is how people that don’t have money end up! The affluent’S children go to Ivy League schools, get Ivey League jobs and don’t have to worry about debt! The average American ends up paying for the rest of their lives and struggling! I will not push my kids to go to school because it is NOT WORTH IT! OBAMA, STOP BAILING OUT THE BANKS AND START HELPING OUT THE PEOPLE THAT ARE TRYING TO SURVIVE DAY TO DAY!!! I went to school hoping to make a better life for myself. My family always told me how important it is for me to finish college. When I finished I owed $42k. I had some problems with a pregnancy and was not able to work. When I contacted Sallie Mae, my principal had jumped from $42k to $63k! I had defaulted and was charged over $20k in interest and penalties. I am now current and paying my loans at $460 per month until the year 2038! I cannot get a job as a mental health counselor, for which I have a degree and I took all the loans out for, because I cannot make enough to pay my student loans and and the rest of my bills. I am now an admin assistant! I could have had the job I have now without a degree and not have this huge debt hanging over my head for the rest of my life! DUPED AND PISSED OFF!

The son of a piano teacher, Angus drifted in the margins of the Calgary music scene before forming the band with Lewis in 2008. Following some early independent releases the band began work on their first LP, Afterlife Blues (2013), shortly after moving to Toronto, with producer Howard Redekopp (New Pornographers, Teagan & Sara). The album was in some sense a process of discovery for the band, as they grew into their sound, encompassing new influences as Angus began to refine his songwriting. The album’s first single, "Funeral Song," was an early culmination of this process, and rapidly garnered an audience via heavy radio play, propelling the band into a year of consistent touring highlighted by prominent slots at Virgin Fest, SXSW and CMJ. Despite this early success the band found themselves at a crossroads as they considered their next step, and Angus began to question the band’s direction. "There was a disconnect," says Angus, "we’d go out and make loud party music but that wasn’t what I was listening to when I got home, so there was a disparity and … (read more)

20 years ago when we still lived in Brighton, CO, I had invited several friends to have Thanksgiving at my house. (A tradition my insurance agent later said I could no longer afford). Each of my guests were gracious and had asked if they could bring anything. When Mac asked what he might contribute I suggested he bring the goats.

Aluminium sheets for standing seam roofs and walls can be produced in many different finishes, such as natural aluminium, copper, stainless steel and a range of coatings. As aluminium is both stable and durable, it can be used as a roofing or cladding material without a protective coating. Sheets can also be perforated to create interesting textural effects. Stucco-embossed natural aluminium diffuses light to create a durable, warm, matt finish. With prolonged exposure to the elements, the original reflective surface will dull to a uniform patina. Changes in appearance will be consistent on every elevation. If colour is required, colour coatings can be specified, including metallic finishes and bespoke colours. Some finishes may require additional coats of colour, primer or UV protection.
