Commenter: Peter O’LalorIn the United States a group has been established to provide a voice for student loan and educational reform. We at CEDR (Citizens for an Educated and Democratic Republic) have contacted all Senators and Representatives with a BILL for student loan reform. In this 18 page BILL are facts and figures gathered from substantive information useful in our challenge to unconstitutional laws. We have also recommended 29 separate laws to support our reasoning. The current bills being proposed to alleviate the problems in the area of student loan legislation are unsatisfactory and only help the student loan creditors. The present legislation has caused grave harm to many citizens and their families. For many, their struggles have continued for decades, taking a toll on their marriages, health, and an increasing inability to live and survive in a worsening economy. At the present time, there is no relief. The present legislation provides for creditors making tremendous profits at the expense of too many citizens. These citizens have spiraled down to poverty level and are under great stress because they do not see an end in sight to their student loan debt problem. Many have moved out of the country or gone off the grid. We want them to know we are pro-active and empathize in their expatriation. Please contact us at Citizens for an Educated and Democratic Republic cedresq@gmail.com if you would like a copy of this BILL in Adobe pdf. We encourage you to share it and contact your legislator about it.

Gold #5 – Climb the shaft, the keep climbing up until you reach a broken fire escape outside the building. Walk along this, then climb up the stairs to the next floor. From here you will see a large, destroyed room with multiple floors. Drop down one level into this room, the Gold item is in the very far left corner under a bed.

Calli studied her hands, looked at how tightly they were clasped together, rubbing her thumbs systematically down her index fingers, over and over. She tried to control that but she couldn’t stop; it was involuntary. She pulled them apart and sat on them for a moment before bringing them back together and rubbing them again.

The next day Bob got another call from the Sioux Falls Police. “I already talked to you yesterday,” he explained, “You have my insurance agent.”

Sparky reared and pawed. Bruce fell back. Sparky wheeled and raced toward the back fence. “It’s only an acre lot,” the lady said encouragingly. Bruce caught the rope at the twenty-foot mark and was catapulted to his feet! He hung on as they coursed around, between and through the truck camper up on blocks, the boat covered with blue plastic, the tilting hay pile, aluminum storage shed, old appliances, sheep wire, pile of posts and collection of ancient farm implements. Sparky was finally yanked to a halt when his rope tangled in the remains of an old pickup bed.

In November 1621, a Thursday, I believe, the pilgrims were fixin’ to set down to a meager meal of fish sticks and boiled beets. When out of the woods marched a jovial band of Indians packin’ a bushel of roastin’ ears and two wild turkeys. Thursday, Thanksgiving, as we know it today, was born.

20 years ago when we still lived in Brighton, CO, I had invited several friends to have Thanksgiving at my house. (A tradition my insurance agent later said I could no longer afford). Each of my guests were gracious and had asked if they could bring anything. When Mac asked what he might contribute I suggested he bring the goats.

Imagine yourself on a quiet rooftop at dusk. The city is sprawled out below, tucked into the night. Summer is drifting away, and there’s a feeling of sweet nostalgia lingering in the air. The sentiments abounding aren’t heartbreak or loss, but salutations to fading moments you’ll never get back. These are the emotions emanating from Joseph King and The Mad Crush’s debut EP, I Miss Everything. I Miss Everything is the sophomore release from songwriter and frontman Joseph King. The Brooklyn-based artist is known for his unique songwriting and musical style, an amalgam of sincere, and sometimes quirky pop songs with pent-up indie rock edginess, surf rock undertones, and late 60′s throwback pop sensibilities. The project is billed Joseph King and The Mad Crush, and it’s a fully realized manifestation of Joseph’s songwriting. I Miss Everything is a lush band effort, featuring a soundscape of moody organs and gritty ‘verbed out guitars, smoky yet smooth vocals, and grooves that vary from full-on surf rock to Doors-esque hypnotic vamping. Previously, Joseph has toured and recorded with Canvas (Austin, TX), Deadbeat Darling (New York, NY), and, in 2014, issued an elegantly essential … (read more)

“Something’s really not right in your lumbar. Your SI joints move around too much – they’re hypermobile. And your tailbone seems kind of crooked.”

I have held the contention that most cowboy poetry is funny due to that close relationship between humor and tragedy. Workin’ livestock is a dangerous and those of us who do it get hurt … a lot! So the only way to deal with the pain is to laugh about it. And you quadruple the chance of injury (and therefore humor) by adding a horse to the equation. Well, most people don’t work pigs a’horseback, so you don’t have as many wrecks. But where there’s a will there’s a way.
