A graduate of Howard University and NYU, RaShonda moved to New York to pursue her Masters of Arts in 2006. During her studies, RaShonda interned for several major labels including Def Jam and Columbia Records before accepting a position at Afropop.org, a nonprofit organization dedicated to exposing American audiences to the pop music of Africa and the Caribbean. RaShonda later decided to return to her earlier career aspirations of working for a major label. She is currently a Copyright Analyst at Sony Music’s RCA Records as well as a church accompanist for the 10am mass at Resurrection Catholic Church in Harlem. An accomplished pianist, composer and singer, she has recently performed at MOMA PS1, Joe’s Pub, Below 54, The Bitter End, and BB Kings. Her musical interests range from Electronic, Experimental, Soul and Funk to Jazz and European classical music.

Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez is an NYC-based DJ, music producer, and recording artist. Best known for his house music, hip-hop, and funk productions/edits/re-edits. Often he works with partner Louie Vega mainly as Masters At Work or Nuyorican Soul, but also using other aliases either for joint work or their own side projects. DJ Minx was inspired to spin by the famed Music Institute in Detroit. Her style is described as funky, powerful house, with a smudge of grace. For two years, Minx engineered and hosted "Deep Space Radio"- an electronic music show on a Detroit’s WGPR radio station. The show was headed by the innovators of techno music: "Magic" Juan Atkins, Kevin "Reese" Saunderson, Eddie Fowlkes, and Derrick May. She played mixes by Kenny "Moodyman" Dixon and Stacy Pullen as well as the show’s helmsmen. She conducted live interviews on the show including one which featured Roger Sanchez as he worked on a track at "Strong Room Studios" in England. She also voluntarily did a weekly radio program at the University of Canada on CJAM 91.5 FM called "Steamy Windows" that featured house music by various local and international artists.
Tim Whiffl er’s Melbourne Cup was purchased last year by the National Museum of Australia and is now on display along with Phar Lap’s heart and the 1934 Melbourne Cup, unsurprisingly won by another Hunter horse, Peter Pan.
