Hayley Jane And The Primates will be hosting a special Phish Pre-Party called "Party Of Five – Tribute To The 90′s". The band will be performing their original music while also mixing in classic hits from the 90′s era.

The star of the Big Hole Wilderness Experience and Wildlife Procurement Extravagance was Big Eddie, a puppy-hearted Pit bull/Power Wagon cross. At 6 foot 6, 280 with a full beard, he took up a lot of room in a two man tent. He was, officially, the camp cook.

After the contest, the wave pool kept running. W.S.L. board members, there for meetings, caught a few waves. I noticed Slater helping a group of Brazilians, which included a young movie star who could surf and a television host who could not. The television host, I was told, was the “Brazilian Oprah.” He was stout and middle-aged, stuffed into a wetsuit. Slater hopped in the water with a huge paddleboard, then put Oprah on the nose, caught a beginner-level wave, stood on the tail, and encouraged his passenger to stand. Slowly, the TV host struggled up. There were cameras rolling on all sides as he wobbled to his feet, arms out wide, bent at the waist, in what is known as a poo stance. This was going to make great TV.

I consolidated those loans in 1994; at that time, the balance was just over $33,000. Over the years since, family issues — my mother’s declining health, my husband’s severe mental health concerns, and my children’s needs — left me looking for the relief that forbearances and deferments offered. New bankruptcy laws require that there be nothing left over in one’s budget to pay back any debt (for chapter 7), but paradoxically student loan debt is still not dischargeable, generally. While personal responsibility is certainly an issue, it must be remembered that many of us have taken what was offered to us by those servicing our loans when we contacted them to let them know of our difficulty. It’s a great system for them — you can’t pay, they offer a year or two off, and at the end your payments are even harder to afford. Ultimately, you’re out of options, your debt is insurmountably high, and there is no option left but to forego needed medicines, scrimp on groceries, and still be behind.
