Commenter: Eman AmenWhen I graduated from an Ivy League school about 30 years ago, financial aid and student loans were available in a reasonable way. Those were the saner days. But these days before going to college or grad school one might first be wary of being tortured for life. The truly incredible thing to wonder at is WHY so many people put up with this situation? Why not band together and call a nationwide student strike. Band together and STOP paying all student loans for the period of One Year! This will put the fear of god in those dirty lousy bankers. And only then will things change. Why do students today, as well as past students in debt, continue to be led like sheep to the slaughter? Didn’t you people learn anything when you attended college! No student strike? Then maybe you deserve what you get. Now get out there and protest, protest, PROTEST!
"This provides accurate validated power curves, increasingly a big issue for turbine customers and banks, and also useful in other key areas, such as yaw-misalignment correction, wind-farm optimisation and lifetime extension."
It was #9 wire. It was wound around two 16 penny nails we’d drove in the rafter plates. It took fencing pliers to twist it. Stout wire.

In Rising to the Tap, a dance concert mixed with autobiographical solo storytelling, tap virtuoso Andrew Nemr candidly reveals a unique American journey. With musically explosive footwork, Nemr shares episodes from his immigrant history — his family’s departure from Lebanon in 1976, adapting to life in New Jersey, his eventual mentorship under legends Savion Glover and Gregory Hines — and his struggles with loneliness, bullying, and cultural identity. Described as "A masterly tapper" by The New York Times, Andrew Nemr is considered one of the most diverse tap dance artists today.
And it’s still goin’ on! I married into a nest of Okies who play the same good music I grew up on. They sing and play and let me hammer and pound along behind ‘em. I’ve never really minded playin’ second fiddle. You can’t be good at everything. But there was a time when I shined!

“Yea, verily! We will march in the streets! We will cleanse the language of offensive expressions such as ‘That’s no bull! Over the calf socks! Going in hock! Udderly ridiculous!’ and that particularly odious defamation ‘Horny!”
Both decisions were for the best. That R32 GT-R, Brendan says, led to the most fun he’s ever had on the track, and the 260RS, well, he considers it a more refined version of that very Skyline. "Now, I own my real dream car," he says. "All the fun of a GT-R while still being able to haul furniture, plywood, a 60-inch TV, [or] four friends."
