Figure 1—In folding, the distance between the clamping and folding beam contact points is analogous to a V-die opening in a press brake air bending operation. The distance determines the radius and can be adjusted for any material thickness the folding machine is rated to handle. Images courtesy of MetalForming Inc.
Imagine having a job that required getting up every day and digging through the scum of the bucket you live in, looking for something that will hurt someone. It’s no wonder our country is warped.
As if to confirm everyone’s suspicions, Beth Greve, the W.S.L.’s chief commercial officer, was photographed in Bali lugging a beginner’s board across the beach with the fins put in backward. Backward Fins Beth became famous in surf world—more than half a million views on @kook_of_the_day. And then BeachGrit, an Australian Web site that delights in trolling the W.S.L., blew up the image to billboard size and installed it on a freeway in Lemoore, just in time for the Surf Ranch Pro. The billboard shot zoomed around the surfing Internet.
Hipwell was awarded an Order of Australia Medal in 1982 and in 2006 was among the second set of inductees into the Australian Rugby Union Hall of Fame.

There’s another group who have a little college, maybe a degree, who are willin’ to work and learn from the more experienced cowboys. If they don’t get shot or run off by the crew they eventually gain a position of responsibility.
The mining boom requires FIFO ( Fly In , Fly Out ) pilots, and gliders are used to teach piloting basics.
Exhausted, they called the cowboy in the neighborhood who came and roped him. The sale barn’s portable loading chute was summoned to take him back to the sale.

Bold Forbes blends the stories and poetry of the folk-singer tradition with genre-busting arrangements for strings and voice. Linda Tool was founded in 1952 as the Linda Tool and Die Corp., a name that later would change to reflect the shop’s shifting focus from tool and die operations to precision machined components, predominantly for aerospace, oil and gas, and machine building. Mike DiMarino started working for Linda Tool and Die in 1975 at the age of 17, at a time when he was one of three employees under the stewardship of its then-owner, Mr. DiMarino’s soon-to-be father-in-law. Over the next 13 years, Mr. DiMarino learned to work every position on the shop floor as well as the front office, eventually taking control of the company in 1988. From there, Linda Tool slowly expanded operations to the point in which, in 2004, the company moved to its current location to meet growing production demands.
Luna Shadows is a multi?instrumentalist and singer/writer/producer running her own show in the City of Angels. As the star of said show, she’s typically responsible for the writing, performing, recording, producing, engineering and editing of her music, although she’s recently brought in a couple of mainstream indie pop co?producers, Brad and Thom of the respective bands Now Now and The Naked and Famous, to help shoulder the load. Even the brightest, most upbeat Luna Shadows song carries a hint of romantic melancholy. She describes her artistic ambitions as a lifelong dare that, "sounded pretty fun" and brought order to the emotional chaos of everyday life. The end product, made in garages and bedrooms under the palm trees of Echo Park, sounds a bit like Lana Del Rey took Lorde to the beach. Creating what Billboard called "some of the most refreshingly soulful and haunting indie pop to come out this year", her tracks have received over 7 million streams on Spotify, reaching #7 on the US and #18 on the Global Viral Chart and have been placed on tastemaker playlists including New Music Friday, Indie Pop, Weekend Beats and Weekly Buzz. Already a favorite on radio stations world… (read more)
