The Marion Cowings Jazz Vocal Workshop is a weekly session that gives vocalists a forum to develop the elements that define a jazz vocal performance. Vocalists at ALL levels, beginners to working pros, are encouraged to participate in this upbeat environment. Bring your questions! The format is simple: Vocalists come prepared with a song they already know, along with two copies of the sheet music. We usually begin with a group warm-up and/or discussion. You’ll perform your selection and get comments and advice on how you present yourself and your material.
